Musical Auditions!

Auditions for this year's Spring Musical, "Guys and Dolls," will be held this Saturday, January 7th, from 8:45 am until Noon in the Fellowship Center! Please wear something comfortable to dance in, and, if you would like to audition for a lead role, have a short song prepared to sing for us (with a copy of the sheet music for our accompanist, if you can!). Everyone who auditions will be cast, and being a part of the musical is not something you want to miss!

Youth Choir

Wednesday, 6:30-7:30 p.m, for grades 6-12

The Youth Choir is a dynamic group of junior high and high school students who have chosen to use their musical gifts for the glory of God. This crazy group of young people rehearses every Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Youth Choir Room and leads in worship twice a month. In addition to singing we also go on a Retreat in the fall, go on Tour in the spring, eat a lot of food, and have way too much fun. This group is open to anyone who would like to join -- no audition or previous experience is necessary.

Youth Ensemble

The Youth Ensemble is an auditioned group within the Youth Choir. This group provides leadership within the choir, and leads in worship once a month. They also dedicate extra time to rehearsals each week. Auditions are held in the Fall after the start of choir.

WIT - Wing-It Theatre

Interested in learning how to express your creativity for God, or building on talents you're already using? Then Wing-It Theatre is for you! Wing-It Theatre Classes run for about two months in the Fall. The classes are open to junior high and senior high students, as well as adults. In the past we've offered Stomp, Drama, Voice, and Mural classes. Come and join us!

If you have ever wanted to be a part of a worship drama, or want to improve your acting skills, then come and check out Wing-It Theater’s Drama Workshop.  It is open to anyone 16 and older with no experience is necessary.  We need a strong commitment to the eight weeks of classes, and a willingness to participate in drama skits in worship.  The workshop will run every Wednesday from 9/16 to 11/4 from 7:45-8:45.  Registration will be on the first night.  Please contact the Youth Music Office for more information x.269.
