Worship Cafe
True to its evangelical design, the Worship Café worship service in Fellowship Center consistently has a near-capacity gathering of worshipers, including a host of first-time visitors.
First time attenders from Rancho Penasquitos, Escondido, Flagstaff, AZ, Hartford, CT and even Malawi, Africa have commented on the effectiveness of the visitor-oriented service.
What makes the Worship Café different? It is designed to be a safe, casual, and friendly place for members and friends of RBCPC to invite their unchurched friends. A place where people can encounter Jesus, and learn Biblical truth in a relaxed setting. Differences include no order of worship, no passing of offering plates, no passing of registration pads, and limited announcements. Visitors can experience Christianity through authentic worship that includes live music, prayers, scripture lessons, and a video-based sermon.
The ambiance of the room is also different, with a more dimly lit worship center, a unique musical style, and bistro tables arranged in a coffeehouse style. Worshippers can take bistro food service items to their table during the service.
A dramatic, antique stained glass window, extensive use of lighting, sound, and supporting multi-media elements combine to provide a worship experience of unique dimension.
The Worship Café meets every Sunday morning at 8:30am in the Fellowship Center.

- Raising and lowering the darkening blinds
- Cleaning up the tables post-service
- Setting out/stacking extra chairs

.....just a few of the tasks that can be an act of service and meaningful ministry that fits your gifts and schedule.
