"The Shack"
The Winter '09 Sermon-based Small Group Series was based on The Shack, by W. Paul Young. Have you heard the controversy over The Shack? Some preachers are telling their people to avoid this book. Some claim it is heresy. Since we think that nothing is so scary that it can't be considered calmly, we want to discuss it together. We realize that some people who have doubts about God's goodness or have been turned off by organized religion don't feel like there is a church where they can feel safe to ask their questions. We want to be that church.
