MOTE - International Prison Ministry
Missionary - Dave Walden - see people in missions
Christian Bible Study (CBS) has been established in the prison and education, character development, and job/agricultural training programs are underway. Dr. Walden works with RBCPC and Dominican pastors and with the power of the Holy Spirit to transform lives, transform the Dominican Republic prison system.
M.O.T.E. is also engaged with impoverished villages such as Santa Rosa, Dominican Republic, where a school is being completed for the education of children and for a future Community Christian Center to reach the children’s parents and other village members. The goal of the Santa Rosa project is to end the generations-old cycle of mal-adjusted behavior among village men that leads to absentee fathers and incarceration. Through education, programs at the Community Christian Center and the power of the Holy Spirit it is anticipated that transformation of villages such as Santa Rosa will occur.
M.O.T.E.’s work in the Dominican Republic is expanding to assist with Christian organizations in the Christian rebuilding of Haiti. These efforts are underway under the direction of Dr. David Walden (“Chappy Dave”).
