Would you like to “get on board” a ministry reaching out to a people group that has only been free of mandated atheism since the early ‘90s? NOW, we have the opportunity to tell Monguls about Jesus’ love for each one of them. This exciting mission helps advance a First Generation Christian Movement by bringing Christ’s love to the people of Mongolia. In partnership with Mongolia Campus Crusade for Christ International, (MCCC), we are teaming with our voices, our hands, and our hearts. Beginning with work in the Mongolian educational system and the country’s military, we will also reach out to those in the medical profession, business people, campus students, teens, athletes, and veterinarians.
Christ is changing lives in Outer Mongolia!
Jims, a teacher for 25 years who came to Christ in 1998 wrote: “…my husband passed away and I was left with four children…Before I became a Christian I was very angry, uncomforted, beat and scold students. After I became a Christian I realized that only the love of Jesus Christ is the foundation of transformation of our education system. I began to be involved in Teachers’ ministry activities…The vision of Teachers’ Ministry is reaching today’s teachers for Christ and bringing change in tomorrow’s society.”
Otgontsetseg, 3rd year student of the Defense University wrote: “My two years walk with Christ have not been so easy. The pressures and oppression from my family because of my belief are distressing and discouraging. After much prayer I got an approval from my parents to go to the conference for 5 days. During the conference sessions God made me understand through John 15, that I’m called to love others and make Him known to others. I determined to pray for my family members regularly, love them by God’s love and continue to be a witness for Christ to them. God assured His peace, security in Him. He wants me to trust Him completely. In order to bear fruit I need to be connected with Him all the time, obey His Word and endure and overcome the trials of my life.”
Battulga, with the teachers’ ministry wrote: “I work with teachers of school #104. And many kids study of the poor families in that school. Tuya and I have reached single moms…We are understanding that aid to the needs of the poor can often open a door for meeting a spiritual need…It is encouraging that moms would like to spend time with us and learn about the Lord.”
Gerlee, the wife of the MCCC Military Centurions ministry director wrote: “We organized a training for 15 disciples. They learned how to share the gospel effectively, how to follow-up new Christians and disciple them. This training was compact yet fruitful for our disciples.”
In a land, now a democracy, situated between Siberia and China, Monguls are learning about a God who wants to have a relationship with each one of them. Our RBCPC ministry with them is one of outreach, relationship, evangelism, and support. We are walking beside both Christian Mongolians and those who are seeking meaning in their lives.
“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.”
2 Corinthians 5:20
