Lenten Devotional
Day 40 - Saturday
Day 39 - Friday
Day 38 - Thursday
Day 36 - Tuesday
In the past few years, RBCPC has created Lenten devotionals for the 40 days of Lent written by the pastors, the staff, and members of the Prayer Ministry. The Lenten devotional this year is unique because all forty entries have been written by Pastor Bruce Humphrey. The theme is the Holy Spirit. The entries, along with the weekly sermons, will help us gain a deeper understanding of who the Holy Spirit is – a significant and living person of the Trinity.
The Prayer Ministry invites you to “open your bible” as you read the entries of this year’s Lenten devotional. We encourage you to set aside time to listen to the Holy Spirit as your guide. What message does He want you to hear? Our hope is that you will become more and more aware of the Holy Spirit’s wisdom in your every day life.
John 14:26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things, and remind you of everything I have said to you.
Many blessings this Lenten season,
Kathy Johnson and Barbara Bennett
RBCPC Prayer Ministry
Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, and continues for the next six weeks, skipping Sundays, which follows a traditional Lenten pattern.
