Knit Pickers
Join us to share tips and tricks of the trade while focusing on creating knitted garments for our primary charity, Stitches From The Heart, sending baby size items to about 1100 hospitals across the country for needy preemies and newborns. We are making kids hats for the cancer ward at Childrens' Hospital, hats and scarves for the San Diego Rescue Mission, and hats for Operation Shoebox.
We have copies of charity patterns to give out, and knitting and crochet help as needed.
Opportunities to serve
We meet from 6:30-8:30 p.m. each Tuesday evening in private homes, locations vary. Please bring your own supplies….we have lots of patterns to share! Contact Peg Williams for more information - .
