Kairos-Prison Ministry
"I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me." Matthew 25:36
Kairos Prison Ministry brings the message of Christ’s love and forgiveness to the incarcerated through weekend gatherings and monthly meetings at RJ Donovan State Penitentiary.
Opportunities to serve
- Attend a Sunday ceremony in the prison chapel and hear the testimonies
- Bake cookies for Sept. & Feb. programs (the “hook” that gets these men to come and to experience Christ’s love), a Sunday closing ceremony
- Work in a companion program Kairos Outside, for women (spouses, etc.) of the incarcerated men.
- Both men and women are welcome!
