Ministry Need:
A rapidly urbanizing world creates vast new challenges for the Church as it seeks to be a redemptive presence amid the complexity of the city.
Ministry Role:
As Team Leader of Urban Mosaic, I lead a team that is fueling movements that will help transform cities with the good news of Jesus.
I do this through:
- Finding, developing, and linking leaders for the transformation of San Diego.
- Leading spiritual formation groups with pastors and leaders in the marketplace.
- Modeling healthy partnership and collaboration by joining efforts with partners in the city.
- Coaching leadership at churches, non-profits, and church plant experiments in missional theory and practice.
Ministry Impact:
- Helping to develop over 40 pastors, church planters, elders, and marketplace leaders to live out their faith in attractive and relevant ways.
- Developing a simple framework for churches and leaders to shape a missional spiritual formation.
- Healthy relationships with a broad cross-section of the church in San Diego ranging from Baptists to Presbyterians, and with organizations serving a range of people from urban youth to victims of human trafficking.
