Arts Forum
Our Purpose
The mission of RBCPC's Arts Forum is to provide a place for the visual arts within the church, as an expression of our God-given creativity and as a reflection of our creative God. We try to provide a new exhibit every 6 weeks which includes a variety of art forms.

Preschool Art Work
Have you seen it? If not, you must! Even if you have, go again, be dazzled with the “feel good, innovative, colorful display.”
Don’t miss the creative use of colored picks, tongue depressors, popsicle sticks, buttons, egg cartons, baskets, tubes, and bamboo sticks presented in vivid colors of spring by talented students. Also there is the long red banner containing little handprints and the clothes pin abstracts all made into wonderful eye-catching art.
Boxes are a main focus that run through this show. A small framed and printed question titled “Imaginations” is hung on one wall. “How long has it been since you used your imagination?” A box can become any kind of house, a car, a rocket ship …do you remember when?
Another thoughtful quote was noted: “Art is an extension of the person, an expression of who I am and what I am…” Sabo and Harrison
This delightful display of children’s art work has been arranged by Carolyn Naylor and Clara Kaku and is dedicated to Patti Hunter, Preschool Director 1991-2011

Opportunities to Serve
The committee meets monthly to plan future exhibits. The displays are put up on a Saturday, requiring 4-5 hours to take down the previous show and “hang” the new one. We look for new members who are artistically inclined and can provide some physical strength. Both men and women are welcome.
If you are interested, contact Sheldon Payne or Verda Friesen.
