2009 / 2010 Music Scholarship Award

Winner of the 2009 and 2010 Youth Music Scholarship, Lauren Bartels, is well-known on the RBCPC campus as a wonderful worship-leader-in-the-making. Before her 2008 high school graduation, Lauren presented an engaging senior project in which she demonstrated her passion for leading worship and witnessing for Christ.
She now attends at Biola University in La Canada. Her experience singing in the highly-regarded Biola Chorale led her to major in vocal performance in the Conservatory of Music.
She’s busy now mastering new vocal techniques and music theory while enjoying her membership in the Chorale.
The Concert Committee awarded her a scholarship based upon her audition and interview last spring.
