2008 Music Scholarship Award

The RBCPC Concert Committee awarded the 2008 Music Scholarship to Andre Castillo. Andre, our Traditional Music & Worship Assistant, is also pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree at San Diego State University.
Andre is a busy guy around the church, but his “forte” is singing. He’s already hard at work learning the role of Dr. Falke in the SDSU production of “Die Fledermaus,” which is scheduled for production in November.
Scholarships are awarded by the Concert Committee to music majors considering a career in music ministry. Interviews and auditions are scheduled annually. Applications are available from the music office.
